No Excuses

So, Wednesday night was my mom's birthday. I had an awesome workout that day, ate super healthy, drank over 4 liters of water and decided what I was going to eat prior to meeting for dinner. I ordered my fish, drank water, did not touch a bread basket- and then, the wine was ordered. I kept telling myself we were celebrating my moms birthday, everything in moderation. Well, that went out the window- did great on my food choices but not so good on wine consumption:( The next morning, I woke up feeling yucky and mad at myself, but I got over it! I decided yep, big slip but not the end of the world. In the past I would have thrown in the towel and ate crap all day, vowing to start over on Monday. Nope! Not this time! I went to the gym and KILLED my workout- I was careful to make sure I was super hydrated the entire time but I was not going to let my bad choices keep me down! Did I have a gain on the scale after that, yep! Hard to believe how much a difference alcohol makes on your progress but I learned and I moved on! I am on track and remaining motivated and determined:) Now...I have to re-read this post 100 times this weekend so I stay committed:)
